COVID-19 Sales Force Daily Protocol
The COVID-19 outbreak showed us just how quickly life can change. One of the biggest impacts was made on the way we work, as well as the level and type of support our employees, customer and peers need from us. During this time of uncertainty going into the field is not mandatory. However, below are policies put in place to allow our sales force to do their best work and meet the needs of Bottom Line Equipment’s COVID-19 Response initiative while in the field.
Team Lead and Sales Force Protocol:
- COVID-19 Self-Assessment must be conducted daily by Bottom Line Equipment’s sales force, signed, and submitted to the Sales Team Lead prior to leaving each day to include temperature being taken.
- Team Leads are responsible for receiving and signing off on Salesman Self-Assessment Document prior to them being permitted into the field.
- Team Leads are responsible for having a video call daily with each salesman to assess health conditions prior to salesman leaving.
- Team leads are responsible for verifying that Salesman have the proper PPE prior to them being allowed on the road to include Latex Gloves, Hand Sanitizer, Sanitary Wipes, and thermometer.
- Team Leads are responsible for collecting signed COVID-19 Self Screening Health Assessments and submitting them to the Director of Human Resources daily
Salesman Protocol Once in Field:
- Salesmen going into the field must make sure to have their Bottom Line Equipment Personalized Essential Employee Letter in their vehicles at all times
- Salesmen must maintain Social Distancing Protocol recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at all times
- Salesmen are not permitted in any customer offices or construction trailers
- Salesmen should mainly use time for Reconnaissance of territory to help determine job stages and construction activity
- Salesmen must limit face to face contact and interaction as much as possible
- Salesmen must use PPE when using gas pumps etc. you may come into contact with
- Salesmen must never deliver food or any other Bottom Line Equipment marketing items to job sites at this time and no lunches are permitted with customers.
- Salesmen must document and submit activity to sales team lead at end of each day to include call log etc.
